Dear friends of the Rainer Rudolph Foundation,
With the “Halle Conference on Recombinant Proteins” at the Leopoldina, we want to continue Rainer Rudolph’s aim of bringing academic and industrial research in the field of protein sciences and its peripheral areas into contact and exchange. The 7th “Halle Conference” took place in October 2022.
Previous conferences have consistently praised the scientific level, the good mix of participants and speakers from industry and academia, as well as across different career stages. This makes the “Halle Conference” unique in some ways.
Until now, participation in the conference has always been free of charge. Costs were covered by donations, public grants, sponsorship and fees for product presentations by industry at stands or through lectures. One aim was to offer young scientists in particular a platform to meet with industry and academia and to help them build their professional network.
We are planning the next and 8th “Halle Conference” in spring 2026 and would like to stick to the concept described. Unfortunately, this will not be possible without your financial support. As we can all see on a daily basis, prices have risen sharply in many places in recent years. This is also clearly noticeable in the costs for conferences. Without your donations, we will not be able to organize the next conference together with the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and the Institute of Technical Biochemistry.
Please help us with your donations so that we can continue to organize this special conference in the future:
